Favorites Collections

You can now organize your favorites into collections in the Favorites section of the sidebar. Right-click Favorites to create a collection. Right-click a collection to add a sub-collection, rename it or delete it. Adding a sound to a collection does not move or copy the file.

To add sounds, right-click a result or a multi-selection and choose Add to collection, or drag results onto a collection. Folders from the library tree or from Favorites can be added the same way. Adding an item that is not a favorite yet also stars it. Removing an item from a collection keeps its star, and unstarring an item removes it from all collections. Selecting a collection limits browsing and search to the sounds in it and its sub-collections.

When you delete a collection that has sub-collections, Arc asks whether to move them up a level or delete them as well. Deleting a collection does not unstar anything.

If you unstar a folder or delete a collection while viewing it, Arc now returns to Favorites. Previously its files stayed in the results.

Search Within

The Search Within chip now uses the full width of the row below the search box. When there are more phrases than fit, the middle ones collapse into "...". Click "..." to see the full list and go back to an earlier phrase. Other chips in the row shorten to make room.

The library sidebar can no longer be widened far enough to push the search controls off the edge of a narrow window.

Fast Preview

Fixed an occasional click when switching to another sound in fast preview while the previous one is still playing.
